I redesigned People Who Don’t Know They’re Dead, In Cold Blood, and A Visit from the Goon Squad with a focus on modernizing their visuals and interpreting each story’s themes through imagery and form. For People Who Don’t Know They’re Dead, I turned the title into a gravestone, using bright, unexpected color to contrast its dark humor and paranormal tone. In Cold Blood is stripped to its violent core, dominated by a shotgun and stark contrast to evoke danger and unease. For A Visit from the Goon Squad, layered, disintegrating forms reflect how time fractures and connects lives throughout the novel. Across all three, bold color, strong composition, and symbolic detail work together to create striking, contemporary covers that both stand out and capture the essence of each story.
