Tend The Flame – Poetry in Motion

I collaborated with a team of designers to create Tend the Flame, a motion piece that brings poetry from the Wick Poetry Center to life. Together, we developed a shared moodboard, color palette, and type system to ensure the sections flowed seamlessly while reflecting the tone of the poem. For my section, I focused on translating the words into motion—using pacing, texture, and visual rhythm to highlight key phrases and draw viewers into the emotion of the piece. The final result connects visual design and language in a way that feels both cohesive and expressive.
